A Winning Content Creation Strategy for SEO

Since “Content is the King”, it needs to have a strong content creation strategy.




Here are 7 winning content creation aspects for search engine optimization and better and more engaging user experience. 







  1. Update Rate: The website has to be updated on a regular basis with fresh and unique content at least thrice a week.
  2. Authorship: All posts need to be presented in a way that the author is clearly declared with a nice photo, contacts info, and an authorship semantic markup rich snippet (rel=author) for authorship declaration on SERPs
  3. Citation: If another source or sources are used for the content Curation, references for such resources should be mentioned with links to pages with high authority and PR, to avoid unnecessary plagiarism.
  4. Assortment: Adding rich media content (videos and photos) is highly recommended and avoid using flash. Also, make sure to implement the ALT attributes for the images files to make it accessible by search engines and if possible add a short excerpt describing the video content with the relevant keywords.   
  5. Engagement: When writing a new article encourage your readers to participate via comments or private emails and try to engage them in discussions.
  6. Viral: Add a call to action in all internal pages to share or like the post on their social media channels.
  7. Referrals: Add a list of similar posts after each article. 
  8. Interlinking between posts by mentioning old and related posts and linking to them via a linkable anchor text.  
  9. KW Planning:  Create a strategic Keywords mapping file to create an SEO keyword density. The file should be as follows:
