By Mina Adly Younan

The Google Algorithm Update gives a great value to the TITLE TAG.

Logically speaking, it is the title that summarizes or recaps what the content is all about.
Think of it that way:

Google Algorithms Updates is all about the User Experience. and Page Ranking and SEO is all about Relevancy and targeting the right audience giving the right information.

That is why Google Algorithms gives a big share to the Title Tag of any content. Because who would risk putting an irrelevant title to their content?

The Title is your image, your showcase, your stage, your book cover or its title.
You could buy a book just because of its title. Search engines think the same way.
So, to understand Google Algorithm equation you have to put the title on the first place.

Some may think of creating titles with stuffed keywords that are not relevant to the content.
Of course Google Algorithms are not stupid. It has many different factors, ways and metrics to measure the real relevancy  between page title, its content, and overall content of the page.

But you can also be smart and try to create a title with IMPORTANT keywords in mind.
So You will not be fooling Google's Algorithms but using it your side by thinking the same way and applying the same factors and laws.

Here is a great technique to incorporate the Title Tag in the Google Algorithm Equation:

The title tag should of course use your targeted Keyword which you simply select through a strategy where you answer these questions filling it:

  1. Monthly Global Traffic Volume
  2.  Locally Traffic Volume
  3.  Competition on this specific Keyword
  4.  Suggestions of long-tail keywords and the search volume for each.

The above aspects could be easily found on a simple research on Google Adwords KW tool

You can also add more metrics like competitive analysis which is simply done through Semrush

when you have your KWs Strategy File. First thing to think of is how to put it in your title.

Does it matter where to put the keywords in the title tag? is it anywhere or better at the beginning of it?
